Peter and Debbie Websdale have been in Lowestoft, Suffolk for 22 years and have three daughters, Rachel, Kirstie and Nicole. Peter was in the hotel business and then went to Lowestoft College for training. In fact Peter still attends Lowestoft College only now as a part time lecturer on hospitality.

Peter was manager at East Point Pavilion for five years prior to running Captain Nemo's and this family business now employs 15 staff. Both Debbie and Peter are able to communicate using sign language and there is a braille menu available so that blind and deaf customers can be made welcome. Junior diners are also made welcome with a special menu and free colouring sheets on which they can enter a monthly competition to win a £10 voucher

There are 15 specials on the board every day, about 60% of which are fish since all the fish is bought personally by Peter from a local fish merchant. Dishes might include sword fish steaks or pan fried herring, again caught by a local fisherman off the end of the pier

The restaurant is ideally placed for tremendous views across the golden beaches of Lowestoft and the sea where the long shore fishing boats can be seen coming in to harbour.
